Make On-Site Corporate Massage Part of Your Wellness Package

The On-Site Massage Program is an ongoing program in your place of business. The program is designed to provide the relief from stress and pain for employees and top executives.

Stress Cost You Money: stress on or off the job cost US employers over $200.00 billion a year, based on information from the American Institute of Stress & American Psychological Association, in reduced productivity, accidents, compensation claims, absenteeism, employee turnover, health insurance and medical expenses.  Up to 90% of all visits to primary care physicians are for stress related complaints. Over 50% of lost work days are stress related.

A Stiff Neck, Aching Wrist, Shoulders that feel as if someone folded them up. Eye Strain, Headaches, sound familiar? Anyone who has ever sat behind a desk all day will recognize the symptoms of “Work Place Fatigue”. Most office related physical symptoms can be attributed to loss of circulation. Tight muscles caused by stress, overuse, and sitting behind a desk all day can impede blood and lymph flow through the body. The result is mental fogginess, decreased energy, and susceptibility to repetitive stress syndrome. Enhancing circulation enables the body’s self healing mechanisms.

If you are thinking about a corporate chair massage program for your office/company as part of your wellness benefits package, you will want to consider the benefits to employees and your company. You can provide massage regularly, just during crunch times, or as an employee appreciation treat, massage can really make a difference in productivity, job satisfaction, and health.  Participation is usually 99% of your employees taking part in a chair massage program; studies have shown this to be true.

No matter what the economy, valuable workers can take their pick of jobs.

With the sky rocketing costs of health insurance, many companies struggle to find benefits to help attract and retain employees.

Stress Reduction Massage Programs increase job satisfaction and create a caring environment that employees appreciate.

Benefits of a corporate chair massage program for your office/company:

  • Improve Productivity: even a brief chair massage visit can significantly improve employee problem solving abilities. A study in American Psychologist gave one group of workers a 15 minute rest, and another a 15 minute massage. The group that received the massage performed significantly better on complicated tasks like math problems. Massage improves creative thinking and relieves fatigue. It’s better than a cup of coffee.
  • Lowers Stress and helps eliminate absenteeism, making your team more competitive. Massage offers people relief and helps them perform better.

The number of companies that offer massage to lower stress and improve productivity is growing every year. So, do such people-friendly policies result in higher revenues? You bet, says Fortune Magazine. In fact, Eddie Bauer, one of Fortune Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For, provides on-site massage twice a week.

  • Improve Health and Improve Well-Being:  a corporate chair massage program can help keep your employees healthy as well as happy. Massage has been shown to reduce blood pressure, relieve arthritis, and improve joint and muscle aches especially in painful areas of the neck and back, and even increases immunity.

Working with me as your On-Site Massage Therapist is easy, simple and straightforward.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Master.  My goal is not only to relieve stress but also to encourage a higher standard of self awareness in the workplace; by using proper body mechanics one can diminish the effects of repetitive stress injuries and have more energy with proper posture and positioning. In return this will lead to a happier and more productive employee.

Below are some suggestions offering on-site corporate chair massage for your office/company.

  1. Employer pays the Massage Therapist per hour. Offering this type of package to the employees as part of the company employees benefit package. The personal attention given to the employee tells them you care about them as individuals.
  2. Employer and Employees each pay half the hourly fee for the services provided by the Massage Therapist.
  3. The Employees pay the full amount themselves to the Massage Therapist, at the time of their Massage Treatment. They can choose a 15 minute, 20 minute or 30 minute massage.
  4. I am flexible and adjust to the needs of the employer and employees.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss what type of program is best suited for your company.
